DAY TWO
Today the crew will lift anchor early and take the cruise to Goidhoo, a fairy-tale-like island with pearl-white sand. Goidhoo is one of the inhabited islands of the Baa Atoll. On arrival, venture inland to explore the island’s unusual freshwater lakes and tropical forests of palms and rubber plants, and you may even encounter one of the huge crabs that reside here – many of them are larger than a foot.
For those that enjoy snorkelling, the local reefs are home to an abundance of different fish, and you will be able to spot rays, dolphins, whale sharks and sea turtles. The area offers an abundance of other activities: kayak to an uninhabited island, which features a beautiful sandbank, or enjoy kitesurfing on the Goidhoo reef.

Today the yacht will cruise to INNAFUSHI, an uninhabited island which lies within the UNESCO Biosphere in Baa Atoll and is internationally recognised for its unique traits. This area remains a natural reserve which preserves the original beauty of these paradise-like landscapes.
The Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve is located in the central western part of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. The atoll is situated just north of the Kashidhoo Kandhoo channel, which geographically divides the northern chain of atolls. It supports one of the largest groups of coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, and acts as a stepping stone for the transport of planktonic larvae of reef organisms from the western and eastern Indian Ocean. The reserve is home to a globally significant biodiversity among its numerous reefs and demonstrates a long history of human interaction with the environment.
