Client was really happy! He said all went well and great crew!

Marina Meier

Outstanding Captain, goes above and beyond and turns every bad situation into a good situation. Mr H said his food was absolutely delicious. They have never had a chef that showed up so much to ask how the food is.

What Guests Say

"I had a quick call with the client and he was really very positive about the yacht and crew. He said it was one of the best yacht holidays he ever had (and he has done a lot). The crew (and certainly captain) have been fantastic and the area was just exactly what they were looking for. Can you please keep me informed about her schedule and let me know where she would be next winter as I'm pretty sure, if the location would suit them they will book again!"

Built by the prestigious Picchiotti shipyard (a division of The Italian Sea Group) in 2011, GALILEO is 182'9" (55.7m) in length, and boasts an impressive 9,000 nautical mile range. Since her maiden voyage, GALILEO has embarked on extraordinary journeys around the globe, from the remote Northwest Passage to the enchanting islands of the Indian Ocean.

Now, under new ownership and proudly joining the esteemed IYC charter fleet, GALILEO offers an unparalleled opportunity for charter guests to embark on remarkable expeditions, immersing themselves in the untamed splendor and inviting waters of Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean. With an infusion of exhilarating adventure, GALILEO promises an unforgettable voyage of discovery and awe.

The yacht’s new life as a charter vessel offers unparalleled surfing and diving expeditions stemming from her owner’s personal passion for the ocean. After searching for the perfect yacht to level up the pursuit of exploration, GALILEO ticked all the boxes in terms of range, pedigree, and capabilities to fulfill the adventures the owner wanted to share through the charter program.

A comprehensive interior refit was completed in 2023, with a focus on adventure and a South Asian, tropical feel. In doing so, the lazarette was rebuilt to make it fit for purpose, with improved access to dive, surf, and gym equipment. GALILEO also offers a full array of above and underwater cameras used by the crew to capture your adventures & compile them into a short video to take home at the end of your trip.

Guests can enjoy surfing, diving, and spearfishing, with boards and locations catering to every level of surfer. For those less interested in taking part in the action, the Captain will anchor the main boat off at a distance for the comfort of those on board. Traditional toys such as Jet Skis, wakeboards, water skis, paddle boards, canoes, a seabob, and three tenders are also available.

GALILEO’s cruising program is not without consideration for the environment. The yacht operates with an eco-approach, placing a focus on reducing its footprint by utilizing sustainable practices. In addition to her lavish amenities and exciting program, GALILEO’s commitment to environmental sustainability sets her apart as a beacon of responsible tourism. As such, the yacht exemplifies the harmonious coexistence of luxury living and beautiful, untouched nature, inviting guests to embrace the thrill of the unexplored.
